Provincial capital should be in convenient place: Speaker Mahara

Kathmandu, Jan 5 : Speaker of the House of Representatives Mr. Krishna Bahadur Mahara has said that the capital of the Province-5 would be announced in keeping with the convenience of the geographical area to its people.

At a programme organized to mark the12th anniversary of Rapati Society in Kathmandu on today, Speaker Mahara opined that the provincial capital should be designated in convenient and appropriate location.

Similarly, National Assembly (NA) member Komal Oli expressed commitment to initiate campaign to make Dang the provincial capital.

On the occasion, constitutional expert Dr Bhimarjun Acharya, musician Santosh Shrestha among other social figures was feted.
