Need to increase investment in education : Deputy Speaker Tumbahamphe

Urlabari, Jan 6 : Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Dr Shiva Maya Tumbahamphe has emphasized on education to realize the goal of happy Nepali, prosperous Nepal.

Speaking at the 55th anniversary function of the Bhagwati secondary school in Belbari municipality-3, Morang on Saturday, she said investment needs to be increased in education to fulfill the goal of the nation.

She also said that the tri-partite role of guardians, students and schools is essential to improve the education sector.

The province and local government need to consider increasing the quality of education in community schools, she said.
Chief of District Coordination Committee Rajendra Budathoki, mayor of Belbari Tara Parajuli and chair of the school management committee Ghanashyam Gautam also spoke on the occasion.

Founded in 2021 B.S. presently 1,187 students are studying in the school from Grade one to Grade 12. (RSS)
