No prosperity until private sector is encouraged: Prachanda



Chitwan, Jan 9 : Chairperson of Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the dream of prosperity could not be realized until the private sector was encouraged for it.

Inaugurating Chitwan Festival on Wednesday, Chairperson Dahal said that the private sector should be encouraged in a positive manner. “The living standard of people should be uplifted and they should be empowered,” he said.

Saying the relation between private and public sectors should be very close in view of infrastructure and development, the former Prime Minister said, ‘Now policy-level, constitutional and political decisions made by us should be brought into practice.”

Leader Dahal further said that result and momentum to development activities are the challenges of coming days, adding nation should be taken ahead in the path of unity, development and prosperity. He said, “We can develop Chitwan and Nepal as a model if there is support and coordination of all.”

Similarly, various personalities including House of Representative member, Krishna Bhakta Pokharel, former President of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Chandiraj Dhakal, Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment of province 3, Arun Nepal, Mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitann City, Renu Dahal, pointed out the need of support in the path of development and prosperity.

On the occasion, Chair Dahal released a souvenir and Chitwan District Tourism Guideline published on the occasion of Festival. The Festival will run till January 18. RSS
