Parliament passes bill on enforced disappearance


KATHMANDU, Feb 6: The meeting of the House of Representatives passed a bill on inquiry on the enforced disappeared persons, and truth and reconciliation commission (2nd amendment) 2075 on Wednesday. The bill was presented before the House by Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Bhanubhakta Dhakal.

Earlier, the amendments on the bill were presented.

Similarly, three annual reports were presented in the House meeting. On behalf of the Prime Minister, Law Minister Dhakal presented the annual report of the Supreme Court 2074/75; the annual report of the Judicial Council and Law Service; and the 59th annual report of the Public Service Commission.

The House of Representatives would meet next on Friday. RSS
