KATHMANDU, March 28: The Shahi Yuva Shakti (Royal Youth Power) Nepal is organizing a massive demonstration demanding the restoration of the monarchy.

Organizing a press conference at Reporters’ Club Nepal on Thursday, the party informed that the mass gathering themed ‘Let’s unite king and citizens’, will be held at Bhrikutimandap, Exhibition Road at 3 pm on April 4.

Expressing dissatisfaction over the leadership of federal republic, chairperson of the party, Pashupati Khadka accused Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli of engendering national sovereignty and integrity by joining hands with secessionist CK Raut.

“We cannot imagine peace and good governance from the current leadership,” he added.

Khadka appealed all the people and media to join hands with them and support their agenda, which according to him, will be re-crowning ex-King Gyanendra Shah and reinstatement of Kingdom in Nepal.

Arguing that the federal republic has failed to work as per the mandate of the people, he added, “if millions of people join us, the king will be restored in a week.”

“But it will be an improved monarchy,” he said.

“PM Oli is the last prime minister of republic Nepal,” he added.
