Minister Baskota defends Media Council Bill (Video)

Minister of Communication and Technology Gokul Prasad Baskota has defended the Media Council Bill saying it has not been brought to restrict press freedom.

The government has been facing criticism from the main opposition party Nepali Congress, journalists and stakeholders after it tabled the Bill at the parliament, aiming to replace the Press Council Act 2048.
