KATHMANDU, Aug 20: Chair of Province 2, Mr. Prabhu Sah of Nepal Communist Party tendered his resignation on Monday expressing dissatisfaction and discontent over the Party’s central committee.
Sah tendered his resignation to NCP Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ according to his press advisor Nivesh Kumar.
According to sources, Sah’s dissatisfaction with the central committee came after the leadership bypassed him while selecting the members of the provincial committee and the officials of the district committee.
His discontent was also with the leadership after the party did not name him in the 45 member standing committee as assured during the merger between former CPN (UML) and former CPN (Maoist Center), sources said.
