Philanthropic act of benevolence: Actress Eliza Gautam funds child’s education

Reporters Club: Actress Eliza Gautam who is currently in Canada for the treatment of her daughter Erika has made a philanthropic act by sponsoring the education of 11-year-old Kamala Ghimire.

The actress has made available 40,000 Nepalese rupees (NRs), which will be a scholarship for Kamala who has risen to fame for her awing singing skills in traditional Nepali Dohori.

Actress Eliza stated through a video stream from Canada that she was happy to help Kamala in attaining her educational and professional goals.

Speaking to the host of Laligurash channel an online platform for news and entertainment, that was fundamental in bringing Kamala’s talent toward recognition, the President of the Reporters Club Rishi Dhamala handed over the money on behalf of his wife who is abroad at this point of time.

He said that Kamala was extremely gifted in the art of singing and hopes to see her successful in the coming years.

Actress Eliza Gautam has given her commitment toward funding Kamala’s educational needs till the 12th grade.

This is not the first time that the Dhamala couple has been philanthropic in their lives this is one occasion, earlier in the month President Dhamala assured help to those with disabilities that he would enable them to get much-needed prosthetics. The couple has always come forward to help those in need.

Speaking at the interview conducted my Laliguras, President Dhamala said that he respects the talent that Kamala has, and has extremely high regard for her, it is a matter of pride for all Nepalese alike that there is a singer like her who can represent our culture so well singing in a traditional format.

In the same program, 11-year-old Kamala was thankful towards the scholarship that she has received from actress Eliza. Speaking about his wife on her benevolence toward this cause, President Dhamala said that he was extremely happy that his wife came forward to help another woman in need and that she always was readily willing to help those in dire need which is an integral of her character which he finds extremely compelling.
