NCP moves for review, Cabinet reshuffle likely
KATHMANDU, OCT 16: The Nepal Communist Party (NCP) secretariat meeting is currently underway in the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar. The meeting is underway to holistically review the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping and to discuss a cabinet reshuffle.
The meeting will also discuss the current work and progress of the government, by both the joint chairs Prime Minister K.P. Oli and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal. They are planning to improvise the current cabinet in order for more effectiveness in administration, and are in the process of going for a cabinet reshuffle which is likely to happen soon, as stated by an internal source of the Prime Minister.
The meeting his currently underway and the reshuffle will likely be discussed in detail which the Prime Minister has conducted a detailed study on, they may likely proceed with the reshuffle by next week. More details are likely to follow soon.
