Nepal in the path of development and prosperity: PM Oli

KATHMANDU, Oct 16: Nepal has made its way toward the path of development and prosperity by strengthening diplomatic relations with neighboring countries and launching numerous new projects, said Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli.

Addressing a tea reception ceremony and greetings exchange program organized on the occasions of Dashain, Tihar, Nepal Sambat, Chhath festivals in the capital on Sunday, PM Oli urged one and all to abide by the rule of law and make efforts to build a corruption-free and civilized nation.

“We should build our nation ourselves,” he said.

The prime minister also claimed that the government has done a lot of work in the interest of people.

“A lot of works have been done for the people, for example, Increase in senior citizen allowance, people’s investment in electricity, Pokhara and Bharahawa Airport, acceleration of Fast-track construction, completion of cross border petroleum pipeline, construction of hundreds of bridges, steamer in Koshi, increased foreign investment, Chinese President Xi Jinping’s Nepal visit and the construction of Butwal-Gorakhpur transnational transmission line,” he said.

He also appealed all to engage in Nepal’s goal of Prosperous Nepal Happy Nepal by consolidating the national unity.
