President Bhandari in Guangzhou China

GUANGZHOU, Oct 23: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has reached Guangzhou China earlier today. The President is on her way to attend the coronation ceremony of Japan’s Emperor Naruhito on the invitation of the Government of Japan.

Upon President Bhandari’s arrival in Guangzhou China, she was received and given a warm welcome by the Nepalese Ambassador to China Leelamani Poudyal, and the acting Nepalese Consul General Kunjan Shah along with other Embassy staff at the Guangzhou International Airport.

The President is currently traveling with a team comprising of Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa, Foreign Secretary Shankar Das Bairagi, Secretary at the Office of the President Dr. Hari Poudel, the Chief Secretary Dr. Bheshraj Adhikari along with officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, President’s office and select media personnel.
