Govt vehicles banned in Dadeldhura in support of Dr KC



Govinda KC 17th hunger strike

DADELDHURA, Nov 10: All the government vehicles bearing white number plate have been banned from plying on the roads in Dadeldhura district in support of Dr Govinda KC.

The movement of government vehicles have been disrupted since 8 am in the morning and the ban will be imposed until 4 pm, said Lokraj Bhatta, chair person of District Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The association has also decided to close the shops in the Baghbazar area of district headquarters today afternoon.

Dr. Govinda KC is on his 17th hunger strike in the district since the past six days accusing the government of dishonoring the past agreements reached with him during the previous hunger strikes.

KC was admitted to Dadeldhura Hospital two days ago after his health started to weaken.

Since he began his hunger strike on Nov 4, various programs in support of agitating KC are being held in the district on daily basis.
