Former Prime Minister Dahal visits PM Oli in the ICU

KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal aka Prachanda met with Prime Minister K.P.Sharma Oli at the  Man Mohan Cardiothoracic, Vascular and Transplant Center this evening.

Prachanda met the Prime Minister for roughly 5 minutes in the ICU of the hospital.

Doctors had denied visitations till yesterday after the PM had undergone surgery for appendicitis. The first person was the PM’s wife followed by the President of Nepal Bidya Devi Bhandari who paid a courtesy visit last evening. Both met the PM for a few minutes.

PM Oli is currently on the path to recovery as stated by the doctors that are taking care of him. He was kept on the ventilator for a day and was taken out after his health showed signs of considerable improvement.
