Laxman and Biplav shine in Karate win Gold

KATHMANDU, Dec 2: Nepal wins gold in the Senior Karate’s men under 55 kg individual category.

Laxman Tamang from Nepal beat Mohammad Mustafa from Bangladesh in the finals 1-0.

Earlier Laxman had beaten Sri Lanka’s Warna Kulasuriyage 5-1 in the semi-finals.

In the Men’s under 84 kg, Karate individual competition Nepal won a silver.

Nepal won Gold in the senior category over 84 kg, Biplav Shrestha beat Muhammad Baz from Pakistan 6-5 in the finals.
