Gold Galore: Santoshi Shrestha wins 10000 meters race

KATHMANDU: Santoshi Shrestha from Nepal won the 10,000 meters race held at the Dashrath Rangasala stadium today.

Santoshi won the race with a timing of 35.07.94 minutes.

Kavita Yadav from India won silver with a timing of 35.07.95 minutes.

Sri Lanka’s Nilanthi won bronze with a timing of 35.59..02.

It takes Nepal’s total to 17 gold, in the 13th South Asian Games being held in Kathmandu, and simultaneously in Pokhara, and Janakpur.
