Nepal wins gold in Golf and 5,000 meters race, placed second with 116 medals
KATHMANDU: At the end of the 6th day of the 13 South Asian Games being held in Kathmandu, Gopi Chand Parki clinched gold for Nepal.
He won the Men’s 5,000 meters run.
Gopi completed his run at 14:54:20 minutes.
In the same race, Hari Kumar Rimal won the bronze medal completing his run at 14:57:05 minutes.
Nepal’s Men team managed a silver medal in Table Tennis whereas the Women’s team won a bronze.
Nepal clinched gold in the Men’s Golf individual through a spectacular game played by Subhash Tamang. The Men’s team won Gold too.
India leads the 13 South Asian Games with a total of 165 medals, and Nepal is second with 116.
