Nepal defeats Bhutan to win gold in Men’s Football
KATHMANDU: Nepal has defeated Bhutan to win the gold in Men’s football.
The 13th South Asian Games Football finals were held at the Dashrath Stadium in the capital.
Nepal defeated Bhutan with a score of 2-1.
Nepal scored early in the 17th minute to take lead.
Abhishek Rijal and Sunil Bal scored for Nepal.
Previously Nepal won gold in the SAG in 2016 and 1984. This is the third win for Nepal in the SAG.
It takes Nepal’s gold tally to 51.
