VP of FNCCI Chandra Dhakal vies for Senior Vice President announces candidacy



KATHMANDU: Vice President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) Chandra Prasad Dhakal has announced his candidacy for the post of Senior Vice President of FNCCI on Saturday.

Dhakal formally announced his candidacy for Senior VP of the Federation from his hometown in Baglung participating in the fest.

Dhakal said, “I declare my candidacy for the post of the Senior Vice President of the Federation from my hometown among my relatives, well-wishers, and seniors”. My career started from very small business and I understand the issues and problems of the business community” he said.

Dhakal is an entrepreneur founding the IME conglomerate of businesses along with his brother Hem Raj Dhakal. His core strengths are conducting successful mergers and acquisitions, financial institution management, and effective leadership in creating business.

Dhakal has been serving as the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Indonesia in Nepal since 2010.

His work experiences also include President of Nepal Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Vice-President of the Nepal German Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is an invitee member of the Investment Board of Nepal which is chaired by the Prime Minister.
