MCC will serve in interest of nation: Spokesperson Shrestha

GALKOT, Jan 19: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha has said that the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) is capable of serving in interest of the nation.

“MCC’s contribution will be positive one as it is in the favor of the interest of nation,” said Shrestha speaking at a press meet organized by the Press Organization Nepal on Sunday.

“No on is expected to exaggerate it and the party would endorse it univocally.”

He also expressed his confidence that the deputy speaker would resign to pave the way for party to secure the post of Speaker.

“The House impasse would end soon.  The party would convince the deputy speaker to resign from the post,” he added.

Party Chairs K P Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has already picked Agni Sapkota as the candidate for the position of the Speaker. RSS
