Home Ministry proposes Thakur Gyawali as new IGP
KATHMANDU, Feb 11: Ministry of Home Affairs has recommended Thakur Gyawali for the position of new Inspector General of Nepal Police, according to sources.
A meeting between Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa and Secretary Maheshwar Neupane decided to propose Gyawali’s name in the cabinet meeting which is being held at Baluwatar later in the afternoon.
IGP Sarbendra Khanal is retiring in a few days after completing his 30-year service in Nepal Police.
