NA aircraft leaves for Guangzhou to bring medical equipment to treat COVID-19 patients
KATHMANDU, March 28: Nepal Airlines’ RA 4171 aircraft has left for Guangzhou, China to bring medical equipment necessary to treat the COVID-19 patients.
The plane, which took off at 12:31 today afternoon, is scheduled to return to Kathmandu tomorrow afternoon.
According to the Health Ministry, the aircraft will pick up medical equipment such as personal protective equipment, polymerase chain reaction test kits, viral transport medium, N95 masks, infra-red thermometers from China to Kathmandu.
The equipment will then be delivered to various other parts of the country by Nepal Army helicopters.
