Stranded 608 more European tourists evacuated from Nepal

KATHMANDU, March 28: A total of 608 European tourists from France, Germany and Sweden who were airlifted to Kathmandu from various parts of the country due to the nationwide lockdown have been evacuated on Saturday.

According to authorities at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Qatar Airways flight No 7782 took off with 303 tourists while another flight 3468 of the same Airways flew with 305.

Earlier on Friday, a Qatar Airways chartered by the German government had evacuated 303 tourists.
