COVID-19 patients in Teku has not recovered but normal
KATHMANDU, April 2: The two COVID-19 patients who are undergoing treatment at the Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital in Teku have tested positive again but their health condition is normal, according to the hospital.
The 19-year-old female who returned from France on March 17 and the 32-year-old male who returned from the United Arab Emirates on March 19 were tested positive on Monday and Wednesday respectively.
The hospital was preparing to discharge them but after their swab tested positive for the second time, their stay in isolation has lingered.
Nepal has confirmed five cases so far. A 34-year-old male patient is receiving treatment at the Seti Zonal Hospital in Dhangadi and a 19-year-old girl is undergoing treatment at the Dhaulagiri Zonal Hospital.
A male patient, who was tested positive on January 23, has already recovered.
