Two more test positive as Nepal’s COVID-19 cases climb to 14

KATHMANDU, April 13: Two more persons were tested positive for the coronavirus on Monday as Nepal’s cases climbed to 14.

Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Bikash Devkota confirmed that a 19-year-old boy from Rautahat district and a 65-year-old woman from Kailali district tested positive today. Both of them had returned from India.

Devkota said that the woman has been quarantined at Lakmi Multiple Campus in the district.

Kailali has the highest number of infections with six reported cases while Parsa has three. Baglung and Kathmandu have two each and Rautahat has one case.
