Woman returns home after recovering from COVID-19



KATHMANDU, April 18: A 19-year-old woman from Kathmandu, who was admitted to Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital after contracting coronavirus, has been discharged on Saturday, 27 days after isolation. She was the second case of Nepal.

She had returned to Kathmandu from France via Qatar transit on March 17 and was diagnosed with the COVID-19 on March 23.

Other two patients who had landed in Kathmandu via same flight are receiving treatment at Dhaulagiri Hospital.

Nepal has confirmed 30 cases so far, of the 28 are still active. A Nepali student from Wuhan who was tested positive on Jan 23 has already recovered.
