18 Nepalis died of coronavirus in UK so far

KATHMANDU, April 22: A 49-year-old male died of coronavirus as the number of Nepalis dying of the pandemic in the United Kingdom has reached 18.

Bijaya Gurung died while under treatment at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, according to Nanda Gurung, president of Redding Tamu Society.

Bijaya had died on Sunday but the Hospital informed his family members about the health only after two days.

He was hospitalized last week after he complained of respiratory problem.

Bijaya originally hails from Yangjakot, Pokhara  and had been living in Redding.
