Sulav Agrawal arrested immediately after release
KATHMANDU, April 30: The police have arrested the Owner of Shankar Group Sulav Agrawal immediately after the Kathmandu District Court released him on bail of Rs 2.50 million.
A bench of Justice Brajesh Pyakurel ordered his release on Thursday but a team of Metropolitan Police Range arrested Agrawal minutes after his release on the charge of money laundering following the instruction of Department of Money Laundering.
Agrawal, also the honorary c consul of Kyrgyzstan in Nepal, was earlier caught by the police from Naxal on April 7 on the charge of blackmarkeetering thermal guns. He was found to have been selling infrared thermometers at five times higher price than the usual market price which is 3,000.
