New parliament secretariat general secretary pledges to discharge duty with professionalism

KATHMANDU, May 5: Newly appointed General Secretary of the parliament Dr Bharat Raj Gautam has pledged to discharge duty with professionalism.

Talking to journalists after the swear-in ceremony in the capital on Tuesday, he said his major responsibility will be to coordinate the House of Representative and National Assembly.

“I promise to perform my duty with professionalism keeping in mind the constitution, parliamentary secretariat regulation and employees provision,” he added.

He was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Speaker Agni Sapkota amid a program at Singhadurbar.
