Nepal’s COVID-19 cases soar to 243
KATHMANDU, May 13: The number of COVID-19 cases in Nepal has soared to 243 on Wednesday after the Ministry of Health and Population confirmed 24 more infections.
Issuing a press release in the evening the ministry stated that nine males aged 22, 22, 25, 28, 30, 32, 32, 33 and 41 and three females including two children aged 4, 10 and 28 from Rupendahi district; two males aged 36 and 74 and a female aged 36 from Parsa district; and a 36-year-old male from Nawalparasi have tested positive for the virus.
Earlier today, the ministry had confirmed two cases– a 22-year-old male from Kapilvastu and a 36-year-old male from Banke.
