Nepal’s COVID-19 cases rise to 258



KATHMANDU, May 15: Nepal’s coronavirus cases rose to 258 after nine more tested positive on Friday.

According to Assistant Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population Dr Sameer Kumar Adhikari, a 37-year-old male from Makwanpur; and eight males aged 18, 20, 22, 25, 25, 27, 32 and 36 from Nainapur -1, 3 and  5 of Banke have tested positive for the virus.

They were tested positive during the tests conducted at the National Public Health Laboratory and Bheri Hospital.

“Their health condition is normal,” the ministry stated.
