Govt policies and programs fiscal year 2020/21

President Bidya Devi Bhandari is presenting the government’s policy and programs for the upcoming fiscal year 2077-78 BS (2020-21) at the joint session of the Federal Parliament in New Baneshwor.

Prior to this, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli handed a copy of the policy and programs to the President.

As per the constitutional calendar, the budget for the upcoming fiscal year shall be presented on Jeth 15 (May 28) every year. The practice is that the policy and programs will be presented two weeks before the budget announcement.

Pre-budget discussions were already held in the Parliament.
