Nepal’s COVID-19 cases climb to 267

KATHMANDU, May 15: Nepal’s coronavirus cases have climbed to 267 after the Ministry of Health and Population confirmed nine new infections on Friday evening.

According to the ministry, two boys aged nine and ten and two females aged 23 and 47 from Birgunj of Parsa district; a 25-year-old male from Triyuga municipality of Udayapur; three males aged 23, 34 and 36 from Gaduwa-4,5 and Tulsipur-7 of Dang; and a seven-year-old boy from Satungal of Kathmandu have tested positive for the virus.

Earlier today, the ministry had confirmed nine positive cases on a 37-year-old male from Makwanpur; and eight males aged 18, 20, 22, 25, 25, 27, 32 and 36 from Nainapur -1, 3 and  5 of Banke.
