Petroleum pipe line to be expanded from Amlekhgunj to Lothar

KATHMANDU, May 15:The government has planned to expand the petroleum pipe line from Amlekhgunj to Lothar, Chitwan for easing the supply of petroleum products.

Presenting the government policy and programmes at the joint meeting of the National Assembly and House of Representatives on Friday, President Bidya Devi Bhandari said even the feasibility study on Silgudhi of India to Charali of Jhapa would be forwarded.

The policy and programmes also mentioned that construction of petroleum depots would begin in Chitwan, Jhapa and Sarlahi, while there will be gas bottling plants in Jhapa and Dhanusha. RSS
