Ten more test positive for coronavirus, Nepal’s total case reach 291
KATHMANDU, May 17: Nepal’s coronavirus cases reached 291 after ten more people were tested positive on Sunday.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, ten males aged 18, 32, 36, 39, 39, 42, 48, 28, 30 and 33 from Rautahat district have tested positive for the virus.
Nepal reported its first fatality from the pandemic on Saturday. A 29-year-old post-natal mother from Sindhupalchowk, who had breathing complications, cough and fever, died on the way to Dhulikhel Hospital. Her nasal and throat swab samples were collected and sent to the National Public Health Laboratory, which turned out to be positive.
