53 more test positive as Nepal’s COVID-19 cases climb to 357
KATHMANDU, May 18: The Ministry of Health and Population confirmed 53 new coronavirus cases as Nepal’s total climbed to 357 on Monday.
According to ministry Spokesperson Bikas Devkota, 47 people including a woman have tested positive in Banke. He was tested positive during a test conducted at Bheri Hospital.
Likewise, six males, each from Morang, Gulmi, Dhanusha, Rautahat, Dang, and Dhading have tested positive for the virus.
The ministry has confirmed nine positive cases today morning.
Of the total positive cases, 298 are males and 59 are females. The virus has two in Nepal.
