Nepal’s COVID-19 cases climb to 402
KATHMANDU, May 19: The Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 27 new infections on Tuesday, taking Nepal’s total coronavirus cases to 402.
According to Bikas Devkota, spokesperson at the ministry, nine people from Jhapa, four from Kapilvastu, three from Kathmandu, two from Sarlahi and one each from Morang, Sunsari, Bhaktapur, Makwanpur, Ramechhap, Lalitpur, Sindhuli, Lamjung and Nawalparasi have tested positive for the virus.
Of them, 24 are males while three are females. They are aged between 17 and 42.
