Nepal’s COVID-19 cases climb to 427
KATHMANDU, May 20: Nepal’s COVID-19 cases climbed to 427 after 25 more infections were reported on Wednesday.
Spokesperson at the Health and Population Ministry, during a regular press meet, confirmed 13 cases Kapilvastu, six in Banke, five in Dhankuta and one in Nawalparasi (west). Of them, 18 are males while seven are females. They are aged between three and 48 years.
Two people have died of the virus in Nepal.
Devkota also requested the media to disseminate information based on the fact and reliable sources.
Earlier today, various media had reported that a COVID-19 patient undergoing treatment at the Crimson Hospital had died taking Nepal’s death toll to three.
“His health is critical and is undergoing treatment in ventilator,” he added.
