20 more test positive for COVID-19, Nepal total cases reach 507

KATHMANDU, May 22: The Ministry of Health and Population confirmed 20 new cases as Nepal’s total cases reached 507 on Friday.

According to Spokesperson at the ministry, Bikas Devkota, 14 people in Banke, three in Kailali and one each in Dadeldhura, Morang and Baitadi have tested positive for the virus.

Earlier today, the ministry had confirmed 30 new cases.

Likewise, 21 patients have been discharged from Sushil Koirala hospital in Banke district. Of them nine are males and 12 are females.
