Youth who returned home from quarantine dies
SURKHET: June 4: A youth who recently returned home from quarantine has died on Thursday morning.
The 19-year-old male from Panchapuri municipality had returned from India two weeks ago and was kept at a quarantine facility set up at the Janata Secondary School some 400 meters away from his home in Bidypur.
“He was sent home after his lab test for COVID-19 was tested negative on Wednesday,” said mayor Upendra Bahadur Thapa.
He had reached home at around 12:00 pm last night and passed away at 2:00 am in the morning, Area Police Office In-charge Asaraf Ali Ansari said.
A medical team has gone to his home to collect his nasal and throat swab samples. The last rites of the deceased will be performed after his swab report.
