Man dies in home quarantine in Dolpa, tests positive for COVID-19
DOLPA, June 6: A man, who died in home quarantine on Wednesday, has tested positive for the coronavirus.
“The 58-year-old male from Jagadulla rural municipality-3 of Dolpa district had returned home on June 1 from hospital after receiving treatment for asthma. He suffered from breathing difficulty and died on June 3,” said Social Development Ministry of Karnali Province in a press release today.
“After his death, his swab samples were collected and sent to Karnali Health Science Academy for COVID-19 test. His results came out positive on Friday,” the release reads.
With this, the death toll from virus has reached 12 in Nepal.
The virus has spread to 68 districts and infected 2912 people.
