Janata Samajbadi to have three chairs

KATHMANDU, June 7: The Janata Samajbadi Party has nominated Mahanta Thakur, Upendra Yadav and Dr Baburam Bhattarai as the new chairs on Sunday.

The newly formed party, which formed following the merger between Federal Socialist Forum Nepal and Rastriya Janata Party Nepal on April 22, has also selected Ashok Rai and Rajendra Mahato as the senior leaders.

The party leaders are now preparing to reach the Election Commission to register their party.

They had previously reached the EC hours after the announcement of merger as well, but the registration process could not move forward since they had not finalized the leadership model.
