213 more test positive as Nepal’s total COVID-19 cases climb to 3448
KATHMANDU, June 7: The Ministry of Health and Population confirmed 213 more infections on Sunday as Nepal’s total COVID-19 cases climbed to 3448.
Of the total new infected, 209 patients are male and four are females.
Province 2 is the worst-hit state with 1161 cases, followed by Province 5 with 1081 cases. Ropla is the latest district to report infection in Province 5. Karnali is the third most affected state with 633 cases in nine districts. Province 1 has 259 cases in 12 districts, Gandaki has 11 cases and Bagmati has 92 cases in 12 districts.
A total of 467 patients have recovered so far.
Nepal has reported 13 fatalities from the virus.
