Five found murdered in a cow farm in Tilottama, suspect arrested
KATHMANDU, June 9: The police have arrested a suspect for his involvement in murdering five people in a local cow farm Monday night.
Janaki Musahar, 37, Madhav Musahar, 40, Karan Chaudhary, 17, Ashish Chaudhary, 17 and Poshraj Musahar, 14 were found dead in a local cattle farm at Mainahawa village near Kanchhi Bazaar of Tilottama municipality-10 in Rupandehi district today morning. The farm belongs to Krishna Bahadur Pun. The married couple Madhav and Janaki and Poshraj used to work for the farm.
The arrested has been identified as Jhapendra Sinjali, 31. He was arrested from near the crime scene, said Superintendent of Police Hem Kumar Thapa, the chief of the District Police Office Rupandehi. It has been learned that Sinjali, too, used to work for the cow farm.
According to the police, they were killed with a hoe, a gardening tool.
According to a report, Sinjali has already confessed killing all five.
“At first, he refused to confess to his crime. But later he admitted,” said Onlinekhabar quoting SP Thapa.
The reason behind the killing of five persons en masse is not yet known. Police has launched investigation into the incident.
