279 more test positive as Nepal’s COVID-19 cases reach 4364
KATHMANDU, June 10: The Ministry of Health and Population confirmed 279 more infections on Wednesday, taking Nepal’s total COVID-19 cases to 4364.
Of today’s infected, 275 are males and 22 are females, said Health Ministry Spokesperson Dr Jageshwar Gautam during a regular press briefing today.
“53 infected are from Rautahat, 48 are from Kapilvastu, 27 are from Sarlahi, 25 are from Dailekh, 16 from Dhading, 12 each from Palpa and Kailali, 11 from Dhanusha, nine from Surkhet, eight from Morang, seven from Rupandehi, six each from Saptari and Pyuthan, five each from Nawalparasi West and Jhapa, four each from Udayapur and Gorkha, three each from Banke and Jajarkot, two each from Chitwan, Kanchanpur and Sindhupalchowk, and one each from Nawalparasi East, Bardiya, Darchula, Dadeldhura, Nuwakot and Siraha,” he informed.
Likewise, 90 coronavirus patients were discharged from various hospitals in the past 24 hours as the total number of patient to recover till today has reached 674, according to Devkota.
Nepal has reported 15 deaths from the virus so far.
