Govt decides to cancel this year’s SEE

KATHMANDU, June 10: The government has decided to cancel this year’s Secondary Education Examination.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Wednesday evening took the decision to this effect. Instead, the students who have missed this year’s SEE due to the coronavirus pandemic will be graded as per the internal evaluation of the school.

The SEE, which was originally scheduled for March 20, was postponed on March 19 due to the risk of possible spread of the virus following the decision of COVID-19 control and prevention high-level committee.

The Ministry of Education will make public the decision on Thursday by holding a press conference.
