Nepal continues suspension of domestic and international flights until July 5
KATHMANDU, June 14: The Government of Nepal has decided to continue the suspension of all domestic and international flights until July 5, according to Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Kedar Bahadur Adhikari. A meeting of the Council of Ministers took the decision to this effect.
“Suspension of all domestic and international flights continued till 5th July (21 Asar 2077), 2020 as per cabinet decision,” tweeted Adhikari.
“The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) is issuing notice in this regard shortly,” he wrote.
All the domestic and international commercial flights in the country were suspended after the government enforced a nationwide lockdown on March 24.
The lockdown has been eased since June 10, allowing industries and business to resume and vehicles to ply the road.
Suspension of all domestic and international flights continued till 5th July(21 Asar2077) , 2020 as per cabinet decision. CAAN is shortly issuing notice in this regard.
