Govt restricts movement of people between 10 pm and 5 am

KATHMANDU, June 19: The Ministry of Home Affairs has completely restricted the movement of people from 10:00 pm in the evening till 5:00 am in the morning except emergencies.

The ministry, in a directive ‘Safety Standards for Managing Lockdown-2020‘, said that the public health and security protocol has been issued in line with the decision of the Council of Ministers regarding the relaxation of the lockdown made on June 12.

The ministry has also barred the gathering of more than 15 people in wedding ceremonies, funerals, poojas, festivals other social and cultural programs.

The ministry has also prohibited the gathering of more than ten people in industries, factories and construction sites.

Likewise, the ministry has urged people not to travel away from home or workplace unless emergencies. Should they travel, the ministry has advised them to maintain social distancing of at least two meters from one another while traveling or working and use face masks and sanitizers.
