Gold decreases Rs 400 per tola to stand at 968,000

Kathmandu : Price of gold has decreased Rs 400 per tola on Wednesday. A tola is 11.66 grammes.

Chhapawal (hallmark) gold has stood at Rs 96,800 per tola while Tejabi (worked) gold is sold for Rs 96,300, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association. On Tuesday, price of Chhapawal gold was Rs 97,200 and Tejabi gold Rs 96,700.

Likewise, price of silver has gone down by Rs 10 per tola to stand at Rs 1,310. Price of the yellow metal has been on a downward spiral since one week. Price of Chhapawal gold was Rs 104,000 per tola. The decrease in the price of gold has been affected by a decline in the international market. On August 7, Chhapawal gold hit highest 103,500 per tola and Tejabi Rs 103,000. RSS
